Every watch begins with a historic movement

Take a look at our exceptional collection of historic Swiss watch movements. These mechanical treasures have been carefully preserved for decades, never having been fitted into a watch.

Since 2020, we have been servicing these calibres professionally, after which they are fitted into limited-edition mechanical watches. There, they fulfil their original purpose of measuring time and continue to tell their story on the wrist.

Switzerland's oldest watch factory relies on blockchain

To date, DuBois et fils has sold several hundred tokenised watch movements. A new subsidiary, SwissValueCHAin GmbH (SVCH), was founded to develop the technology.

The blockchain is intended not only for documentation and participation in the value chain, but also for protection against counterfeit watches. A digital, forgery-proof token is an ideal way to preserve the authenticity and genuineness of valuable products across generations.

By venturing into this new field of technology and developing a specific blockchain application, DuBois et fils can also bring values such as sustainability and historical connection to life in the digital age.
