DuBois et fils logo

The DuBois family began with the production of watches in 1751 in Le Locle, in the canton of Neuenburg. The company was founded in 1785 and has existed without interruption ever since – making it the oldest watch company in Switzerland. Since 2010, Thomas Steinemann has been at the helm of DuBois et fils in Basel. Find out more about the company’s history here.

In the beginning, three fir trees adorned the logo of the watch company. Today, the fir tree is still part of the brand — and is a design element on the watches and accessories — which also symbolizes the DuBois et fils connection to the Swiss Jura.
