10th AGM of DuBois et fils
AGM 2023: IMPRESSIONS AND OUTLOOK
The weather could not have been better. With sunshine and blue skies, we welcomed our guests in the Walzhalle in Münchenstein on the morning of June 24, 2023.
We started the General Assembly with a video review of our last meetings and the catchy tune of "September" by the band Earth Wind & Fire.
It has been 10 years since we celebrated our first assembly. Looking back at the past shows us how time flies. Memories and emotions come to life again at the AGM. The pictures from the past will surely echo for a long time.
Review of the year 2022
We have said goodbye to the old fiscal year. 2022 was a challenging year. Nevertheless, we look back with pleasure on twelve eventful months.
Milestones in 2022
In 2022, we carried out our projects with great willpower. These included:
- Partnerships: with the University of Neuchâtel and FC Schalke 04.
- Trade fair visit: "Die Presse Schau" in Vienna
- Events: various events including "10 years of crowdfunding" and a meeting with the Management Club Basel
- Watches: Sales launch of the DBF008
- Blockchain: development of the digital chronicle for our customers. If you buy a watch, you get a virtual one with it! This NFT watch is secured with blockchain and has an individual, digital chronicle. Various reports and important information about the watch are stored there. The highlight: the digital chronicle of your own watch can be personally updated. Whether videos, texts, pictures — all documents are stored securely and for generations to come.
Outlook for the year 2023
We launched the year with our first digital diary: football expert and former professional Urs Siegenthaler. Our concept is proving to be a great success, so we are continuing it with Fabienne Wohlwend, João Cancelo, Dada Herzog Al-Attas, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Amandine Albisson and many more.
At the beginning of May we welcomed Gina-Maria Palazy, our new employee for marketing and communication.
Currently we are working hard on our new watch: the DBF009 will be a pilot's watch. We presented the first designs together with Stephan Messmer at the General Assembly. For this watch, we are taking inspiration from the original models from the 1900s.
We are excited about what the year will bring and look forward to having you continue to be at our side.
