Instruction Manual DBF008

The DBF008 automatic movement is a jewel from the 1960s. We found it, along with other vintage relics of the Swiss watch industry, in the attic of a couple of dedicated collectors.

The movements from that era are not only reliable, but robust. Thanks to old craftmanship, the DBF008 is equipped with a historic movement that was made in Switzerland and ticks at the highest level. The case withstands the high demands on the watch and complements the movement perfectly.

Our team researched and reactivated an age-old technique for the production of the DBF008: the earliest technique for assembling case parts of a watch. The result was a timepiece you can rely on. High-quality Swiss craftsmanship lives on not only in books, but also on your wrist — with the DBF008.

Uhrmacher im Jura setzt die erste DBF008 zusammen

No effort is spared in production. Each of our DBF008s is assembled by hand in a specialist watchmaking workshop in the Jura Mountains.

The 330 AS-1985 movements that are installed in the DBF008 come from the A. Schild watch factory in Grenchen. Although this factory no longer exists, DuBois et fils was able to secure and revise the calibres. Now these witnesses of the past live on in the DBF008 collection.
