Swiss tradition for 275 years

From pocket watches to precise wristwatch masterpieces, our brand has always stood for the highest standards in the art of watchmaking. The DuBois family began manufacturing watches in Le Locle in 1751, and the company was founded in 1785. DuBois et fils can now look back on almost 300 years of history, which has always been rooted in Switzerland.

It is our passion to preserve this unique tradition of Swiss watchmaking, to pass it on and to keep it alive for future generations.

From trade to in-house production

In 1743, Moïse DuBois began selling watches in Le Locle. It was the first and decisive step in the company's centuries-long history. Its own production followed just a few years later.

The historic DuBois building on the Grand Rue in Le Locle is still family-owned today.
