AGM 2025 of DuBois et fils

This year's Annual General Meeting of DuBois et fils took place on 14 June 2025 in Saal 1 of the former Küchlin Kino in Steinenvorstadt, Basel. Around 140 shareholders attended the event, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The meeting was chaired with aplomb by Tobias Steinemann, a member of the Board of Directors. This year, the dialogue with the audience was intensified: guests were able to put their knowledge to the test in an entertaining quiz, with the chance to win an exclusive DuBois et fils token at the end of the event.

Financial overview: Facts, figures and answers

In his concise financial overview of the 2024 financial year, John Walthert revealed what lies behind last year's figures. With clear explanations of the earnings and cost situation, as well as the current balance sheet situation of DuBois et fils SA, he created transparency — and then answered questions from the audience.

New studio in Muttenz: a significant step

A key highlight of the past year was the opening of the new workshop in Muttenz. Watchmaker Thomas Gronenthal and CEO Thomas Steinemann explained the associated goals, the strategic importance of this step, and the added value it offers customers.

A look back at the collection: the DBF009

There was also a deep dive into the popular pilot's watch, the DBF009. Thomas Gronenthal discussed the current delivery situation, how the watch is assembled, and what he believes makes the DBF009 the perfect pilot's watch. Afterwards, guests had the opportunity to try on and order the models.

Ivan Rakitic x DuBois et fils

The collaboration with football star Ivan Rakitic was also discussed. Gina-Maria Palazy presented the player's autobiographical project, which included personal insights. Board member and football expert Alex Frei analysed Rakitic's playing qualities with great expertise and enthusiasm.

Looking to the future, the new DBF010 was unveiled for the first time ever.

A special moment at the end of the meeting saw the brand new DBF010 unveiled for the first time ever — exclusively to the present shareholders. They were the first to catch a glimpse of this innovative model, which breaks new ground with its modular, customisable components and versatile styles.

The meeting concluded in a convivial atmosphere.

After the official part of the Annual General Meeting, the Brasserie Küchlin hosted a cosy get-together. Guests were able to marvel at and try on the new watch models while enjoying delicious tarte flambée, refreshing drinks, and interesting conversations.
