Connoisseurs know the oldest Swiss watch factory's philosophy: small editions of valuable watches – made from the finest materials and often equipped with special mechanisms. DuBois et fils is and has always been true to this tradition.
The Grande Date model, whose design language subtly reminds one of the successful DBF001 line, is a wonderful example of this legacy. The elegant 40 mm case of this timekeeper is made from 18 karat white gold and encloses a classically designed dial with a chronograph, large date below 12 o'clock and an annual calendar with a month display between 4 and 5 o'clock. The screwed-on case back made from sapphire glass provides a view of the gold-plated heart of the automatic movement, the base module ETA 2892 with additional caliber 4900 from Dubois-Dépraz.
The edition of the Grande Date is limited to 300 timepieces. The offered model has the Limited Edition number 127.
The auction ends on 15 June 2015 at 10 pm.
