At the beginning of the 20's Jules DuBois then patron of DuBois et fils demanded that watchmakers finally launch chronographs that could "not only be worn on the racetrack or while driving, but also in the evening."
DuBois et fils presented its first wristwatch chronograph as early as 1922, which was well received by pocket watch advocates thanks to its unobtrusive and elegant design.
The pre-owned timepiece up for auction is reminiscent of this first chronograph edition. Its gold-plated case, guilloche dial, gold-plated numerals and indexes as well as its numerous other functions, is the perfect companion for business nomads and admirers of beautiful watches.
